I am currently paying o2 £31.69 monthly for 15GB of Data on telephone number [personal details removed], as i own my own phone.

I have checked on MSE and o2 are offering a 12 month sim only contract for 12 months with 20GB of data for £10.00 per month.

I would like to take up this offer, but wish to keep my telephone number. Can this be organised, as my next bill is due tomorrow and i would appreciate being advised how to complete this?

[mod edit: please do not post personal information. Thanks!]

Hi @MAV

This is a community of o2 customers and is open to everyone, so we can all see your phone number and part of your email address.

Please come back and edit your post to remove your details - click the little downward arrow at the top right of your post.

You don't say if you are mid contract or not as this would change your options.
If you are at the end, you can take the MSE deal and migrate your number over.
If not, you can either try to change your tariff to one similar to the new deal, or contact the sales team to see if there is anything they can do to help.

You can get in touch with them on 202 from your mobile, or on 0800 081 0255, or you can message on social media:

 Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

It depends, @MAV - how much of your contract has to run?

If you check in MyO2, and confirm your payment is just for Airtime, then you should be able to change from the higher to the lower contract SIMO tariff easy enough.

Info here: Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update and Guide: Migration & porting into O2

I flagged your post so a Forum Moderator can take your mobile number out of the query above.

Good luck.
