I have been an O2 pay monthly customer for some time, recently I received a message to say my data had been used up and in order to have more I needed to top up, i had only recently paid my bill, and am sure I couldn’t have used any more data than i usually do. As I said I have never had this before I have been on the same package for 20 months. I have tried to call 02 and I am unable to get hold of anyone, would anyone know how I can contact or message O2, so I can understand what has happened. I am not even sure if I will get a reponse to my post or where I need to go from this page to where responses are 🐵

Hi SKhan 

 

Your modile data allowance will refresh on your billing date not your payment date. Your billing date is usually around 2 weeks before the payment date. Do you have the My O2 app? If you do it will tell you when your data will refresh. You can also add a one off data bolt on via the app under bolt ons or alternativley you can add more data by calling 2202. Guide: How-to guide for My O2 

 

Unfortunatley i cannot tell you why your data has been used up as i cannot access any accounts. I hope this helps in the meantime.

Many thanks for your help Stacey. Where do I find when my contact is up, I really am not happy with 02, I just feel like the app is not straighforward and when you need to speak with someone, there are so many blokages to get through. I was a Carphone Warehouse customer and they were brillliant when you had an issue. My bill has gone up since 02 took over without even allowing me to leave. It's illogical how i have ended up being a 02 customer, when i bought my deal from Carphine Warehouse. I am so frustrated how something so straigforward has been made so complicated.
