I want to cancel my contract, and not moving to any other network or use any PAYG. So, If I require a STAC number , what should I do with it ? . I just want to finish the service with O2, why is so complicated? .
Do you know if there is a live chat available? it would be nice talk with an agent in order to solve this problem inmediately.
Live chat is sometimes available if you browse the shop pages @cosc , and there is a button on the pop up for non sales issues.
You could also call customer services.
While getting and using a STAC is more cumbersome, it means you know it has gone - and as you can in most cases get a PAYG sim for free it shouldn't cost anything.
