Upon logging into MyO2 now as part of their Easter Promotions - O2 are now showing a mini game existing customers can take part it. 

Easter Eggs are hidden under one of three cups which are then moved. Upon successfully finding the eggs you are offered the promo code “EGGSTRA”  which gives you £50 off the upfront cost of any iPhone 14 model on a new contract.  

The terms state the following:

£50 off the upfront cost of a iPhone 14 when purchased on an O2 Refresh tariff via My 02 only.

£50 discount applied to upfront cost of device.

To apply the discount, set your upfront cost to at least £50 and select your desired device plan length and tariff.

Within the basket paste code "EGGSTRA" into the

'Got a promo code?' section.

However there exists one problem. The code doesn’t work. It states the code is “Invalid” upon use. I have confirmed with O2 who tell me the code cannot be used in any form and most likely won’t be valid going forward. Upon questioning this they state they “cannot comment” on the issue. 

So if you find your eggs, win the promo code and find yourself at a loss….you’re not the only one!

We're just customers like you but it sounds as if you need someone to access your account which can't be done from here.

Just to add, I've checked My O2 on my PC and can't see any such promotion. 

It's only on the My O2 app (I've checked) under offers or promotions.

Hi there. I’m aware this offer is only on the MyO2 app as it states on the terms. However the provided promotional code does not work as confirmed by O2. I am just alerting other members.

I got HOPHOP "Plus, get £50 off the upfront cost with promo code" as a prize, with free buds and Fitbit with a Pixel 7 Pro - but if I pop a Pixel 7 Pro in my basket, with a 150GB tariff, under the orange offers tab on the O2 web shop, I get this offer anyway, @kubalosolo -

I understand your post well enough. You are not the only person to have issues claiming. There have been two others today.

I'm telling people who have problems claiming, to contact O2 as it's their promotion.

That's my job as someone who has been a member of this forum for 10 years 😉

I had a similar offer for buds, although I had to buy the Pixel first. 😂

Obviously many different offers are part of the promotion.
