We renewed a phone contract back in August and part of the deal was 6 months free Disney+, I activated the account and watched a few things on it. I've not logged in though for about a month until today when got the screen telling me that my subscription had ended. Now it may be just me but Aug to Oct is NOT 6 months (OK it might feel like it what with the pandemic). Did I misunderstand the offer?

No, it's definitely 6 months.
I'd give customer service a call to see what's happened.

Or advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.

Im same I'd set a task for myself to cancel Disney Plus beginning of December gonna get on to them tomorrow 😞
