I have just requested a number change and been told that this service is no longer available, I shall be moving provider in due course.

@baz3 I would try calling again, as the person you spoke to must certainly have that wrong. If you are receiving harassing or menacing calls you can't be expected to keep that number. That would be an extremely bad policy.
