@Sonja59 See these guides:

How can I sort out my network issues? - o2uk

Why do I have poor coverage indoors? (o2.co.uk)

If there is an issue with your local mast, there isn't much you can do until the upgrade is completed. O2 normally doesn't give timelines for repairs or upgrades.

In the interim you might try a new sim to see if that helps. You can call into an O2 store if you have one nearby and they'll swap your sim for you. Be sure to bring identification with you.

Alternatively, you can request a new sim from customer service and do the swap yourself: SIM Swap: a mini guide (incl eSim) - O2 Community

You can reach O2 via social media:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
