O2 have given me an hour slot for delivery of my new phone but it is now almost two hours late

Does one wait in all day when a phone has not been delivered in the slot promised? Or will I receive an apology/explanation of delay?

It will have been the courier that has given you the time slot, not O2 as they don't actually deliver them personally.
You can chase O2 CS for updates or contact the courier yourself directly.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Personally i would be chasing up O2. I know the courier issues the time slot... but the fact remains that until you receive your phone it remains the responsibility of O2.

Last time I had a phone delivered it came in the afternoon rather than the morning delivery promised. However they did text me to advise of the delay.
