Hi Guys just wanted to know who else would like to see o2 offer the service that vodafone and t-mobile do where you pay £2.50 a month and calls to these numbers come out of your inclusive minute allowance trying to see who would be interested and maybe we can put it to o2

I think that's a very good idea and suggest O2 take a look at doing this.

Don't forget

http://www.saynoto0870.com

Great site to get alternative geographic numbers.

 Even better its free...

Have managed to find all I need for conpanies that give a 08 number. From banks to recovery co's.

I search them out and add then as contacts, so they are all handy when needed.

Whist I think it would be a good idea, I wouldn't use it as I use alternative numbers. Best option is to use the companies' overseas numbers as they are often regionalised. Some make the point that the number is for overseas customers but hey, from a mobile I'm always abroad:smileywink:

That allied with SayNo gets me through the month from my allowance.

Fair point I use that site too but would just like the option on o2 just trying to get a feel for how many are interested as Leonard the community manager has said he will try and suggest this at o2 if enough people are interested

I would certainly support the idea as there is obviously a need for it. It makes perfect sense to compete in the market.

It would also be nice to include 0844 numbers in the bundle as well? One thing that I did think of is instead of O2 charging say £2.50 to allow you to use your mins. Why couldn't they either do something like O2 travel. So for instance You pay 30p to connect and then the rest is removed from your mins? Or another possible solution may be taking 2 mins out of you bundle instead of 1 mins for making the calls? And my last one was why not say convert some of the mins you don't use into being able to use the 08 numbers. So for instance You have 900 mins. I want to convert 200 mins for 08 and that gives me 100 mins. Again imnusing a conversion of 2 to 1 to allow for higher charges? So O2. Time to set up some challenges to other networks and set a president? Something new?

I like the conversion of minutes idea.:smileyhappy:

There's got to be a challenge to O2 here, and a chance for Browni points!
