unordered sim mess up!!

Anonymous

I'm very dissatisfied, I never ordered a sim nor did I want to have to go to the 02 shop new years eve get a replacement sim which still isn't working I left my daughter for a trip to London had no internet as the sim mess up messed my new year up.
3 hours spent finding where I had to go as I had no Sat nav and rely on my phone. Couldn't speak to my family contact my poorly daughter and spent hours in the cold lost.

Absolutely disgusted with the service as soon as my contract is up if not before I will be cancelling.
Protocol should be in place so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Regards Daniel

Of course. Because I never asked for a new SIM IN THE FIRST PLACE
Maybe the shop staff were as confused as we are.  Did you explain the problem clearly or not?

I think the shop is definitely the best place to sort this out.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Does ANYBODY here actually understand the chain of events that happened to this customer??? The OP appears to have visited an O2 retail outlet to try to resolve a problem and they have replaced the SIM. But what the original problem was is a mystery.

My phone was working completely fine yesterday up until I received a email thanking me for the order of my new sim. To which I didn't order. So I went into the o2 shop got a new sim they said they have idea and I had to wait 24hours for it to be active. Thinking it can't possibly take that long I started my journey. I'm now home still completely disconnected and it's been 29hours

If you didn't order a new sim, and your phone was working fine before, why did you go into the store and have them change it? Why didn't you just tell them the new sim you received in the mail wasn't needed?

Have you tried your old sim in your phone to see if it still works?

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Is english your native language?
You didn't need a new sim.  Try replacing the old one.
