As per title.
Have been migrated from Virgin Media, and want to turn off voicemail.
In VM's account, I was able to access things like roaming, voicemail, and call barring, premium numbers, etc, and change their preferences from the account, both website and app...
These do not appear to be accessible in the O2 account settings??
Surely, these are BASIC functions, and should be user controlled??
I do not need voicemail, or roaming, but am unable to find any means of turning these off??
O2 have closed all the local shops near me, so tried the 'tech chat' which promised to get back to me (a week ago!) but not had anything from O2 , (except loads of 'buy this, upgrade to this' & 'add this bolt on' ).
Not too impressed with O2 to be honest, zero customer support, and no useable account system...
I mean, all I want to do is turn off some settings. In VM, simple, in O2, impossible.. (and yes, I have the app installed on phone, but no different to the website account!!)

Turning off VM
Dial 1760 and press send
Hi, assume that this means send a text to 1760, not a call??
(says 'dial1760' as if making a call, then says 'press send' as if sending a text)
Not very clear is it??
Thought VM were bad, seems O2 are trying to outdo even VM now!!

@HughJarsse It says DIAL not send a text. It's clear to me.
Wondered how long it would take for you to appear here.

Some phones have a call button, some say send, most people can figure it out OK.
