5 weeks after placing an order for a second handset for my account it was finally delivered without a sim. 02chat is useless. south african call centre fail to understand or act (still waiting for a call back from a manager).
advisors mis advise. managers refuse to take calls.
absolutely disgusted.

Why not just call into your local O2 store and pick up a sim....?

it was a second handset to be added to my account. that meant having two numbers. it took 5 weeks for them to get the handset to me .... 5 days holiday from work (not including the two weeks my son was home) to ensure i was home on the days deliveries were arranged not to mention the numerous phone calls to customer service.
my nearest store is 15 miles away. why should i have to do that?

You shouldn't have to but otherwise only customer service can help you get the satisfaction you want or deserve.
