Hello and welcome to the forum:)

First of all what do you mainly do with the phone? Txt call or just surf the web?
Have you considered a pay monthly like simplicity? Some of the tariffs are much better deals than others.

As for the keeping the number on a new sim you just have to get yourself a new sim and use the sim swap function and everything will be transfered to the new sim:)

Or txt

"Swap" to 20220

from your old sim and you'll be taken through the process.

Hope this helps:)

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. So Ive been told wink

or pop into your local store and they'll do the sim swap while you wait....

Agree with both,

Personally I'd pop into your local O2 store and get the SIM swap straight away and also have the bonus of being able to discuss the best tariff to suit your needs.
