My wife asked me what a new icon is on her Pay & Go Motorola phone earlier today.  It is the wifi calling icon and she is on Pay & Go.  We have bad O2 signal here and my contact O2 phone often switches to wifi calling but not hers until now.  She was able to make a call and the display said that it was a wifi call.  Has this been officially launched at last?

It's being rolled out, along with 5G for PAYG, finally, @DS10001

It may come and go as O2 test and bring up the functionality for PAYG, so if you have it, use it is my suggestion - but it may come and go until the formal O2 launch.

Good luck!

Yep. WiFi Calling, 4G Calling and 5G should be in place for all PAYG customers by the end of the year if O2 are to be believed.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@DS10001 It says in the FAQs here that PAYG customers are getting 4G calling and WiFi calling by the end of the year

Things are happening in bits and bobs

Just check if it can be switched on in your phone settings

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
