I agree @ Cleoriff even though O2, GiffGaff & Tesco Mobile all use the O2 network, I still see them as three separate entities which is what they are

Just thought I'd remind everyone that Wikipedia can be updated and added to by ANYONE, is therefore an authority on absolutely nothing, and should only be used as a starting point followed by looking for facts. That's not to say that Bambino and Wikipedia are wrong in this instance, I've yet to check....!😷

Is there something you need help with?

Thank you @jonsie, and @Anonymous, fyi, should you Google 'who owns giffgaff', the first thing you'll see is this:

    Telefónica                                             Telefonica.jpg

Giffgaff (stylized "giffgaff") is a mobile telephone network running as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) using the United Kingdom O2 network. Owned by O2's owners Telefónica, Giffgaff was launched on 25 November 2009.

@Bambino and @jonsie - I was actually trying to point out that Wikipedia isn't a credible site to reference if the facts being presented are to be taken seriously. Unfortunately it seems I didn't actually get around to coming to the point (although I DID make it clear that it wasn't the content I took issue with Bambi), my bad and I apologise for the feathers I appear to have ruffled...😉

No apology necessary @Anonymous. I understand what you mean about Wikipedia. I think we're all on the same page now. No feathers ruffled at all.:smileywink:

@Anonymous the issue I did have was the age of the thread you dug up (to make a point)  It was 18 months old ! Hence my proof photo above ! Do not take offence but the regulars do know what we are talking about

Hahaha oh wow, ok can I please just repeat this upper case (not shouting, just more visible) to prevent further misreading, misunderstanding, or plain old cherry-picking? Here it comes...I NEVER ONCE SAID OR EVEN INTIMATED THAT ANYONE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT OR WERE WRONG. I botched my first comment and clarified, expressed amusement and apologised in the second one. @adamtemp64, I didn't actually dig up an old thread to make a point, no offence but it's not much of a platform for axe-grinding! I was browsing aimlessly, killing time while my toddler napped in my lap, and felt the urge to comment.
