data protection breach

My girlfriend went into an o2 shop and got served by the manager for a new sim etc... the manager soon began to txt her and also send flowers to her home address, these details he got off the system. the nature of these txts are to the effect of ull get bored of ur bf soon and come see me etc. i got a good mind to go into the store and give him some of my justice but i want to see what can be done regarding taking him to court or anything like that... doing it the clever way slight_smile

what do i do? i really dont know where to begin :S

Breach of the Data Protection Act 1988 which O2 would have agreed to to be able to collect any data or store any data.

yeah keeping and storing the data is fine... abusing it for personal / NON O2 matters is not on. txting my gf and sending flowers to her home address is not on, details he went onto the system to get it not on.

hey sheepdog thanks so much for the reply slight_smile yes he is defo the manager... ive got his name and the store where he currently works. im going to get an official transcript of the txts he has sent and also trace the flowers too for investigation purposes. its going to take abit of work but im going to do it slight_smile just looking at this:
