If you feel exasperated by the way the forum is operated, or you feel your involvement has developed into more of a chore. Just leave! Why kick-up a stink when your experience tells you O2 won't acknowledge it here.
This place is effectively run by the regulars. Someone signs up for help, it isn't O2 who assist, it's ordinary customers. Why not just leave the site, O2 will soon realise they've completely ballsed up here.

Because there are those that think positively and those that think negatively.
Just depends in which group you place yourself wink

This is the official O2 forum set up and monitored by O2 or their approved contractors.
If O2 wish to close this forum in preference to Facebook or give priority to Facebook rather than the official forum then they will make a formal announcement.

If you already had full time moderators helping in a forum, why would you need third party contractors? Doesn't make sense.
How do you know they would make an official announcement? Are you upper management in O2?
I went to the Facebook site earlier today for the first time and saw more O2 help and concern in a single thread, than I have ever seen here. Some regulars do, do an excellent job helping here, but as they have no official O2 authority, there is only a limited amount of areas they can help in.

Actually a thumbs up to Vodafone and Orange, as some of you know I moderate an iphone forum. Lately I have a couple of times seen their forum moderators coming on my site to help out their customers. I know they are official (well vodafones) as I go on their forum.
This is on a totally unofficial Apple iphone site where we are quite happy to give information out that Apple don't want you to have.

O2 have a few O2 Site Admin people who post here occasionally, and the moderation is done by an external contractor - eModeration.

By making that comment, you confirm that you don't know how the forum is managed.

How do you know they would make an official announcement? Are you upper management in O2?

Because they have said that any changes to forum would be announced by Site Admin....read the relevant threads. Do you really think that "ravefromthegrave" is a viable username for an O2 senior manager ? :womanindifferent:

Is there an easy way to find your iphone forum without you plugging it on here to any spammers that might be looking in here?
