This has been mentioned in another thread but deserves a section of its own I think. @MI5 and myself have noticed a changed to Contact Preferences. Initially I had opted out of Marketing info....today we noticed there is a new layout for the page and suddenly mine have been turned on...Advise everyone to check. Mine looks like this...(or did as I have now turned off everything except Priority) @Toby is currently checking when these changes took place..

OK thanks.
Just FYI, Martin PM'd us all for specific details which we have provided to him.

HI @MI5,

He passed on the details of your accounts but I'm asking for details on who contacted you. If he had already gathered these, then I apologize for having to ask again, but need it to try and help everyone here.

@Toby to provide you with specific numbers would be extremely difficult. Once I realise they are spam I add to auto reject list then usually delete.. Some just come up as private number ..The number which has been has been plaguing me recently is 0121 285 0069. This is some company called ClaimEasy Limited. I have had calls asking about my PPI, My Windows computer, some All inclusive holiday I took last year..(I didn't)..Calls regarding double glazing, new conservatories etc etc etc. To be honest I have a landline and get a fair amount on that phone. Until just recently I had NO spam calls on my mobile..

I've just had a phone call from O2 complaints who've categorically denied that O2 pass details onto third parties... I've told them that I know that's not true, and asked if they've looked here at this thread.

They've asked I reply to an email with links to here.

I did say I'd like the complaint escalating, to which I was told it's at its highest level and the next step is the ombudsmen...

Really not impressed though as it seems it is just an all out denial of anything going wrong?

I'll update this thread with any further info I receive.

You need to ask Complaints for a deadlock letter/email as they have confirmed that the next step is the ombudsman

When I did that, they said they'd look into it further @Beenherebefore I'm willing to give them a chance to look into it properly.

Funnily enough..or coincidental....since I PM'd Toby as requested yesterday ...I haven't had one spam call today. I know it's early days, Saturday and a BH weekend...but even so....
