Hi all!
I hope you are all doing well.
Thanks for all of your views on here around the rewards program, forum structure and content, among other features. It is clear there are some frustrations, as well as some great ideas emerging. We want to try and address as many as we can and have discussions about certain topics so that we can move forward in a constructive way.
Here are a few things we are reviewing:
Rewards
Forum content
Guidelines
Forum Structure
We are approaching Christmas and are busy planning the next year ahead, but will begin these discussions and reviews when we can. We want to concentrate on each of the topics separately to give them all the attention they deserve. Also, the community team may stick with certain aspects as they are, but we want to try and be as open as possible with our reasoning and approach. There will undoubtedly be some aspects that some will not like, but hopefully we can alleviate some frustrations and enable us all to have fun here, whilst at the same time continue welcoming new members into this great community of passionate people.
I look forward to opening up the discussions around each of these areas in more detail soon. I hope you have a great week.

@Toby It took seven pages to get to this point (probably more if you count the posts that were deleted :smileywink:)
I wonder when @Marjo will open up the debate further by asking her next question?
ie "I look forward to opening up the discussions around each of these areas in more detail soon. I hope you have a great week". (this taken from the opening post)
I would say here that when we do discuss and debate the next issue, I hope we are allowed to do this freely and without it being challenged constantly for further explanation. We are all entitled to our own opinion and if that is given and we are clear.... there should be no need to drag it out
This first section seemed to degenerate into a free for all about kudos (and your role)...

I agree which is why I'm looking forward to the guidelines being issued....

Good morning @Cleoriff As one of those to whom I think you may be referring who "challenge" the views expressed by others in this Forum, I feel I should apologise to you (and to anyone else who shares your view) if I have been a source of annoyance and irritation in this respect. Perhaps we just have very different ideas as to what the "rough and tumble" of discussion and debate entails, but I have never set out to upset anyone in this Community or elsewhere, nor would I want to spoil the general enjoyment and benefit that many derive from it. Clearly it is I who needs to find an outlet more suited to my particular needs.
I wish you everything you wish yourself, and I hope that you have a very Blessed, Happy and Enjoyable Christmas.

@Anonymous I wasn't actually referring to anyone in particular. You know If I have any issues with you I would let you know. I just felt the previous posts on this thread got very hung up on one particular issue ( regarding kudos) I felt...and still do, that once an individual has made their point on the thread (which is open to all the community) there is absolutely no need to keep going back over and over again to revisit it.
I will go with a majority vote...but am not prepared to change my opinion purely because it differs from someone else...

I wouldn't push my opinions on anyone at all. We all differ and I would defend the right of anyone to express it.
I've made my points on this thread and I hope it can remain a clear and open discussion without being judgementAl or insulting to anyone or the need for any moderation.
We are all adults hopefully....

I would like to add just for the record, I love discussions and debate. I am sure I stated that in my 'spotlight'
On a community forum however, there is no room for anyone to keep reiterating a point just for the sake of it.
It turns the discussion on its head and loses focus of the whole issue....

Quite. Once a point is made there are no embellishments needed.
