I'm a Community Manager, not a UX designer, the more suggestions the better @Anonymous
My team and I intend to focus on a mobile version overhaul in the near future to ensure that its as easy to navigate as possible.

Someone could do with working on the CSS, on mobile buttons are oversized and the header is too large, leads to a poor browsing experience, that plus the shortcomings of the mobile lithium forum design. Can't wait for responcive design to take over. Mobile rich text editing would be a major improvement.
Overall, I think we get a better browsing experience
BTW if you stick around, you might find a few familiar giffgaffers.

On a serious note, both giffgaff and O2 have a bit of work to do in that respect. But despite its quirky features, this site is actually a lot easier to navigate around. Switching to full version doesn't require zooming in and out to access all the features such as editing, and it does seem more user-friendly.
But there's always room for improvement I suppose.
