It's not officially on O2 but I've said before how every now and then I'm getting 4G+ on O2 on the Z5.
Since putting my sim back in tonight it's been solid 4G+ even when in poor signal.

O2 don't have enough of the 4g spectrum so you'll never see speeds the like of which you can get on EE.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

True though. However, I am satisfied with the stability of the network signal so far at home and at my work place.

Satisfaction with the products and services is what's important after all.

But now you wouldn't be satisfied if you had to rely on TuGo to talk and text would you ?

Also just bear in mind this thread was started in February last year.....

True. You are right. Perhaps I'm just lucky to have a good and stable O2 connection.

I do understand where you are coming from. That is why I had to switch from 3UK to O2 as my primary mobile network provider in the first place.

@mavericke ...I was about to switch from Voda on one of my devices until they upgraded in my area.

I live in an old stone cottage with 500mm stone walls plus 21C insulation and it was impossible to get a signal but after the upgrade I have no problems.

But I still feel sorry for those with O2 that are losing TuGo just because O2 need to stabilise their revenues

Wow I’m so jealous

Manchester City centre I’m glad if I can open an email or even send an iMessage.

Please O2, fix Manchester City centre 4G, most of the times I switch to 3G to get any data...

Last Friday I was in a transport ambulance crossing through Manchester City centre and my phone dropped 4G immediately then down through the signals and even hit E at one point. My EE phone on the other hand never dropped 4G once so it isn't congestion,  merely O2 not spending the resources on a city centre that needs it badly.
