So if they change our contract half way through we cant do anything about it????!!!! Cant we cancel it? Surely thats illegal?
There is no change for existing users. Its only if you upgrade and agree to a new contact. But this is still not good news at all.

I don't think it's going to happen as the developers want to write more data rich and visually rich apps for a device that is now more powerful than ever
O2 and other providers are basically putting the starting blocks in place to cash in big time on the bigger apps, face time over 3g and other data demanding things.
Or how about the app developers learn to write code more efficiently? Or even learn about data compression techniques.

Heres hoping 3 can save us O2 definately won't be getting an upgrade from me even with the 30% corporate discount I get through work. Thats if they allow that they didn't with the 3Gs thats why I still have a 3G. I mainly use the data I never use more than 20% of my call allowance or text allowance and that on 600 mins & 500 txt.
I'm in the same boat. I only use a small bit of my call allowance and text very little. I got the iPhone for it's Web appeal. Now there taking the one thing away that sold it in the first place as my previous call plan had loads of minutes that rolled over, unlike this one that doesn't and i'm paying more! I mite aswell bend over and make O2 take everything! Here take it! Have it! Love it! That's what you want from us right? We have officially been owned!

I don't see the ipad in the same light. Just not something I see myself ever buying. It just seems like a glorified tablet pc

Vodafone have 1GB limit, then charge £5 per 500MB chunk.
500MB for O2? When it was unlimited before?
No thanks.
If allegedly 97% don't use more than 500MB, then why are approx 97% pissed off with O2 on here and on Facebook???
Not upgrading now.
