I have just bought a Nokia 925 from the O2 shop only to find that the signal strength at home (I can only use it outside) is much worse than on my old non-smart phone. Why wasn't I warned about this by the shop and when will I get a decent signal in the CB8 5 area?

No offence meant, but how would the shop staff know what the signal strength is like at your home address?

Turning off 3G may help as there is none in your area and we can't help with when this might change:

Because they know my address from my contract info.
They could not possibly know what the signal is like inside any property?
This is not and never will be guaranteed.
