Repeated text messages

Don't know if this is an O2 issue or my phone which is a HTC one mini. From last night, every time somebody has text me, the same text has kept coming over and over again every 10 mins. It's driving me bonkers especially as I need my phone for the alarm clock. I really can't listen to this all night!! Anybody else had these problems?..

Well I don't know about that...I'm now losing the will to live!! It's not fixed the problem 😭..they told me to take my phone in if it didn't fix the problem so that'll have to wait until weekend..not allowed to take my mobile phone in work anyway so only use it in the evenings anyway 😠

Are you just using the standard message app?
If so and for the sake of trial and error, try this from play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jb.gosms&hl=en

Yes phone been off all night. Just downloaded the app, which I quite like the look of by the way, but I've just had the same text through from last night...grrrr...off to work now so will have another look tonight

Ssssshhhh! Not gonna speak too soon, but had a text on the new message app I downloaded ...at 16:25pm and no more have followed ...yet. I won't hold my breath just yet though lol
