When playing around in MyO2 I came across the following
Monthly price of your Airtime Plan will increase each year from your April bill.
Please refer to your current contract form for details of this increase.
Excludes Essential Plan.
So I looked up my current contract and it gave the usual 3.9% plus
I've never had an email regarding the change for this contract, only a ghost watch one which is 70p rise not £1.80.
Is this another case of O2 confusion

Yeah. This definitely says airtime plan. But officially I've not been informed of the £1.80 rise.
Not to worry though as I'm out of contract early March

Had my email come through saying that I'm being put onto the new Ts & Cs on 9th March, and that my bill will go up £1.80 from April.
As I'm on a 12 month deal for £8 per month that's a rise of 22.5%!!
Luckily my 12 months runs out later in Feb, so I'll be upgrading to a new deal before that will hit my account...

Same here @gmarkj . Just have to keep an eye out when things change to April 2026. I have an inkling they will take it to the wire this year....
Only thing certain is they are not going to get another £1.80 per month out of me

Have had a quick look on USwitch, and they quote "price rise in April 2025", so have to wait for now @Enlli

The increase is of £1.80 on my £10 p M bill amounts to an 18% rise. Who sanctioned that?
