PAC

Hi does anyone know is there an alternative way to contact them, perhaps via email to request for my PAC? I heard there is an online form that I can write. Instead of calling that cost me 25p, I believe there is a much cheaper way?

Please help

Thanks!!

202 is free for contract phones only. PAYG calls are chargeable to 4445. But seriously.... its 25p !!!

Try to ring 0800 0321402 off a landline and let us know if it works.

Be careful when ringing O2 because they now have a message saying "we are too busy for you call back later" so that 0.25 can turn into a lot more with multiple calls.

shelley: I want my pac number please?  THanls Sayed

O2 : Sayed: I'll be happy to help you.

O2 : Sayed: Can I know the reason why you want to cancel the contract with us?

shelley: Thanks so much!  I asked to have an iPHone - the bloke said I can't as contract stillon.  I said I want one though - so he said to pay my contract up then, and then get a pac and I can go and get an iphone.  So Have arranged for my contract to end on 27 Oct. Now want pac - getting iPhone from orange.

O2 : Sayed: I'll help you with it!

O2 : Sayed: Can you please help me with your full name and O2 pay monthly mobile number?

shelley:

O2 : Sayed: Thank you.

shelley:   - sorry - spelling error

O2 : Sayed: No worries!

O2 : Sayed: Please can you tell me the 3rd and 5th characters of your security answer? (I gave them here)

O2 : Sayed: That's perfect!

O2 : Sayed: I see that the termination fee will be approximately £80. so shall I transfer the chat to our re-contract team so that you can get the PAC code.

shelley: thanks so much SAyed

O2 : Sayed: Please be online, I'll transfer the chat.

O2 : Sayed: You're always welcome!

O2 : Sayed: Take care have a great weekend ahead!

shelley: and you

I’m just going to transfer you to O2 Shop.

If you’re looking to buy an iPhone 4, iPhone 4S or iPhone 5, you won’t be able to do that on chat. You can do this online, in an O2 Store or by calling 202 from your mobile or 0844 809 0202 from a land line and pick option 2 twice.

You are now chatting with Sean at O2 Shop.

shelley: I SEan. Please may I have my pac number?

shelley: Are you there?

Sean: Hi there. My name's Sean I am an O2 Re-Contract advisor, how can I help you today?

Sean: Hi Shelley.

Sean: How are you today?

Sean: I'll certainly have a look at it for. Please can I start by taking your name and your mobile number?

shelley: Fine thanks, but frustrated. Been going on for close to 4 hours trying to get a pac. (i've deleted my name and number her)

Sean: Thanks.

Sean: I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused to you

Sean: Let me check your account and get back to you.

shelley: How, by phone or on here? How long?

Sean: I'm not sure what are you referring to?

shelley: YOu said you would get back to me after checking my account - just asking if you are going to get back to me on here, or on my phone? I have already arranged the disconnection and the payment of the outstanding sums on my contract on 27 October

Sean: Okay

Sean: We're Online Retention's Team and can only assist you online

Sean: Please stay connected while I quickly check your account.

shelley: oh. ok. Sorry - I've been at this for almost an hour now today. Have to be 14 miles away in 4 minutes. Hence my sound of agitation

Sean: I certainly understand your frustration. If I were you would have felt the same

shelley: Thanks. Will you be giving me my pac?

Sean: As I check your account and your contract end date is 31/01/2013. And you'll be eligible to Upgrade on or after 31/12/2012. However, May I ask what has prompted you to cancel contract and change provider?

shelley: I@ve been through this iwth 8 people now. I gave amonth notice - got confirmation of my one month notice. Please pelase polease, pleeeese plesee may I have my pac?

Sean: Alright.

Sean: May I know what is it I should do to make you stay with o2?

shelley: I have already said I need to go somewher, and sitll it is dragging on. What is this? Is the only way to get a pac by letter?

Sean: Okay

shelley: OK, thanks for not helping. I've got to go. Tried this with loads of people, tried the phone. I'll try by post.

Sean: You can have the Pac Code online or by calling on 202.

shelley: OBviously NOT online, because nobody is giving it to me!

Sean: Please do not worry.

Sean: I'll assist you with it

Sean: Sorry for the million questions, just trying to narrow down the choices.

Sean: Trust you understand.

Sean: Do you wish to have the Pac Code right now?

Sean: I haven’t heard from you in a while. Are you still there?

Sean: Anyone there? I'm going to close this chat now. But if you need more help, feel free to chat with us again.

O2 has ended this chat session.

You'll be lucky.  It will be less hassle to change my phone number everywhere than go on with trying for a PAC.  Nearly 6 hours waiting for 202 - in 8 calls.  40 minutes on webchat.  Still nothing.

You haven't cancelled your contract have you, as you need to get your PAC and use it first?
