Hi everyone. I currently have a OnePlus 3T and am due an upgrade in a 3 months, although I'm on refresh so could take advantage of the "we'll pay off the remainder of your device plan if you upgrade" offer that seems to be available at the moment.

I could go with the OnePlus 6, however, I've just seen this rumour video for the OnePlus 6T, which should be out by the time my contract is due for renewal.  It looks stunning, especially the dark red colour.

Does anyone have a OnePlus 6, and is it really good?  Or would you say I should wait for the 6T?

Thanks

Steve

@welshsteve76 In the same boat, contract up for renewal on a 3T on 3rd Jan.

May just go for the 6 if it has dropped a bit in price with the 6T out for a couple of months by then.

Expect the 6T to be out in October, but the 6 is totally awesome and you have to buy at some point.
If you wait for the 6T the 7 will be out 6 months later etc.

Are you sure the offer does pay off the outstanding device plan?

I got an "offer" that looks like I have to pay only 85quid to upgrade, but that is what my outstanding balance is on device plan, and "up to 95quid trade-in" on my current OP3T... I shall have to read it in a little more detail, @welshsteve76.

Yeah, @welshsteve76 - looks like you've got a better upgrade offer than I have - go for it!  I shall wait until my renewal date, 3rd or 4th of Jan from memory.... even though it says 15th Jan below - all a bit arbitrary, it seems, that's O2.

@pgn  I upgraded last night and did indeed have the remaining device plan paid off for me.  On top of this I decided to go with a Huawei P20 Pro instead due to the what I considered to be the overcharging for the OnePlus (see my post https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly/Overcharging-for-OnePlus-phone-contracts/td-p/1148621)

I got a much better deal than I could for the OnePlus 6 in the end.

Delivery of my new phone is due in the next half an hour yahoo  As is my wife's new phone as she upgraded too.

Thanks

Looking forward to how you find the P20Pro, @welshsteve76 - hope you find it to be on a par with the OnePlus range thumbsup

So far so good.  I like the clean interface.  I'll try and do a proper review when I've used it more.

Thanks
