I'm about to upgrade my phone from a samsung galaxy a20 had it a long time, but i want to get a high end or mid range phone i'm open to suggestions, i've narrowed it down to
Xiaomi 12/12 pro
Oneplus 10 pro
oppo find x3 pro
google pixel 6 (or any of the others)
Samsung galaxy s22/+/ultra
i would love some feedback from poeple in the know that maybe owns one of them or indeed one i haven't mentioned.

Myself, I would always go for the best phone that my budget allows
I have a midrange a52s and I love it
The days where I spent circa £1000 on a phone have long gone
Ultimately it's down to personal choice

OnePlus 10 T (the Pro is not coming to the UK) and the Oppo Find X3 are both by the same Parent Company (and ill spell it right this time) BBK Group....
Xiaomi are good phones, but little niggles in the UI, where the Chinese to English hasnt quite worked, but
S22 Expensive and in my opinion not the best Samsung have released
The Pixels are a lot better, I have one on trial for work, and its a lot better now most of the bugs have been quashed and Android 13 is looking really good on it...

I've got the X3 Pro. Not had any issues with it in terms of not doing something I wanted. I'm not the most power user - occasionally swap between apps, don't play games that would test it.
Camera seems good (previously had LG phones who had a good camera), screen is good (1440x3216 resolution, bright and clear in daylight).
Doesn't support SD cards, or have a headphone jack and speakers are not aimed at the user when watching in landscape.
Oppo seem to be doing ok for updates - get the monthly security ones regularly and have had Android 12 - which is better than LG were doing on my v30.
As others say phones are very subjective - what I look for and my opinion on is not necessarily what others might want or think is good.
Also remember that Oppo have now released the X5 Pro...
