O2/Virgin merger

How can the same products for the recently merged companies be so different price wise. Some of the phones on Virgin are considerably cheaper for the same product than O2.

2 different companies under one parent company, and are not the same products.

Virgin Mobile are an MVNO using Vodafone's network, and don't support all the features o2 do and MVNO's are usually cheaper than MNO's.

O2 runs on there own networks, supports all the features you would expect.
