O2 Recycle

I have enquiried about O2 recycling my phone (IPhone 7plus 128gb Space Grey) at an O2 store.
Because of a scratch on the screen the sales advisor wondered if that would be classed as a cracked screen rather than general wear and tear! My recycle quotation went from £230 to £49!! The phone is perfect apart from one scratch!
I’ve looked online and it’s not clear what O2 mean as general wear and tear either!?!

Sell it privately. They offered me £150 for a 6 month old iPhone 7 in perfect condition. Ended up getting £350 for it.

@JBob This always happens. We always advise going to CEX where you will get a much better deal

It’s just a big con and deliberately vague in the way the word the T&C’s.
Take it elsewhere for the best money.
