You know, I realise this is way out of fashion these days, the best feedback is by letter to head office. That way, both the advisor, their manager and their team get the credit. Their is also a copy of the letter on the advisor's employee file too. Customers don't realise what such a letter means to an adviser.

I know that sounds a nice way to do things @jonsie, though I would always worry that the advisor wouldn't actually get the thanks. We found that a lot in the NHS. If anyone wrote to the Chief Executive praising the staff on my ward, we rarely got to hear of it!
It was as if the CEO liked to store such letters of praise in HIS office to read and admire
