Having problems with o2 home phone i cant make out going calls..
Direct bebt failed on the 1st feb.....phone cut to incoming calls only and bb was cut on the 11th feb..paid bill on the 12th feb...brdband back same day 12th feb....but still waiting for phone to make outgoing calls..
Phoned customer service and was told would be able to make calls within 24hrs...no such luck..
Phoned again was told phone would be back within 72hrs...Still no luck..
Phoned again was told 5 working days by now im getting annoyed..
Phoned on wed 26th feb was told it will be back by the following wed 5th march (yeah ryt)
Phoned them again 5th march at lunch time was told would be back sometime today (wed)or by early hrs of the morning...
9am 6th march still no out going calls...called them again to be told could take upto 48hrs
They soon took payment on 3rd march for bb and phone service hmmm..
Its getting to the point now that i dont know what to do about it....feel so let down by them

0800 230 0202 is the only number that will let me ring out on..
And all o2/sky told me today was it will be back 24 to 48hrs ..this has gone on since
12th feb

On bank statment it just say TELEFONICA UK

novembers bank statement said O2 LTD
Dec bank statment said TELEFONICA UK and has been ever since
I have been with O2 broadand for at least 4 years or more..
Last may i renewed my contract as i was going to leave for a better deal
but O2 came up with better one..home phone and broadband...
I did have one letter saying that sky was taken over and i need do nothing ..
Thats all i have heard about it...
I have had no probs up until the failed direct debit ..
but all payments and direct debits are upto date last payment was taken on 3rd march
But i am getting nowhere trying to get my landline working so i can make incoming calls

If you've spoken to them today and they told you 24 to 48 hours you're just going to have to wait. If your line doesn't come back on you'll just have to persevere and call them again until they sort out the problem. You can try to call Sky and see if they'll help, but they don't have a free number to call and it could get expensive. I've tried to find you an alternative number for Sky on saynoto0870.com but the site seems to be down at the moment.

Thanks but It's no good me phoning sky as i am still with O2 ..
Acoording to them i have not moved over to sky yet...
O2 just phoned me there is a big fauilt somewhere and they are trying to trace it
to find out why i cant make outgoing calls..
They dont know if the fault is with them or with BT
O2 told me to phone them on monday to see how the progress is going so more waiting 😞
