I tried to cancel my o2 with awful trouble

I use the number 202 to cancel my contract, as the staff at 02 Fareham couldn't do anything about it, but the service of 202 was suppose to buy the phone out right and end the contract the customer service did half of the job like an competent fool which I still pay for a sim card that I can't even use in Europe or in the UK. I've even made a complain at o2 email address and they were suppose to contact me back on the phone or email nothing radio silence.

 

I feel frustrating as they are lying and overcharging their customers and doesn't let their customer the option of canceling their contract or put them through a useless chatbot.

 

I feel ripped off and avoid them at all cost

If you have made an official complaint, please note that it is taking O2 up to eight weeks to investigate and respond to complaints. Hopefully, your issue will already have been resolved by then but, if it is still ongoing, you should hear from the complaints' team in due course. 👍

@Alank196 202 is not the number to use to cancel. The staff in Fareham should have known and told you that. No one is lying or ripping you off.

Follow the advice above from @pgn.

I'm having similar issues, no communication from complaints dept and 202 puts me through to some sort of useless foreign call centre where they are clueless
