I have been trying to use the chat for over 4 hours, but all i get is
Give us a moment
We're just checking to see if there's an available agent.
I have disabled adblocks, cleared the cache and restarted the browser and still nothing
calling is not an option as my handset is barely functional
can anyone think of anything i can do on my end?

You could call from a landline or use your o2 sim in another o2 phone if you have access to one

O2 doesn't seem to be working! no Chat and no support with swapmysim. I've been trying to get a code since 2 this afternoon and now they tell me I've used my allowance for the day - try again tomorrow! Useless.

Thank you very much, Im just waiting for someone now, i did contact them over facebook to sort out the initial part of my quirey, but this is so much faster

Hopefully they'll get back to you soon @Anonymous or contact them again 1st thing tomorrow because they will usually shut down around 11pm
