Hi,  My postcode is DG5 4LH.

I've had no signal for over 2 days due, according to your Help Line, to "a local mast not working".

When will this be rectified and will I and other affected local users be compensated for lack of use caused by this fault?

O2 won't give timescales for repairs as there are so many variables. Typically if you call customer service once the fault is rectified they would normally offer a goodwill payment.

2 days really isn't very long compared to some areas.

 

you could call customer services and they may add a credit as a way of compensation but they are not obliged to do so.

In the meanwhile, switch your phone on to 2g mode as it seems the mast that is broken is a 3g/4g one as 2g supposedly works.
Give it a try, if anything just to see if you can get the 2g signal.

If you speak to Customer Services they can keep you in the loop with updates about your masts via texts or emails.

Wait until the mast is fixed before asking for a goodwill gesture as you will be better placed when you know how many days you are dealing with.
