No access to Network

Hello. My phone says 'No access to network' which has never happened to me before. Is there an issue with o2's network? Anyone else with this problem? Or is it something to just do with me?

I can't even ring o2 to tell them! Any advice?

Internal email going around o2, I have put my way; it seems half of the Mangers, Directors were totally unaware of the situation:

Dear Collogues,

“Because of a major power outage yesterday evening this has affected several cell sites across the UK. This has affected both 2G and 3G services. This incident occurred at approx 20:30 on Tuesday evening and resulted in over 1,000 customers queuing across customer service.

Until reading your email, this morning, like I, wasn’t aware; this is from our internal updates.

Please advise customers we are currently investigating this as a highest priority and apologise for any inconvenience, we are considering compensation, but we want to avoid this if at all posible within the current economic downturn

theyre fixing it apparently slight_smile although they thought it was fixed, then they realised it wasn't. slight_smile i tried to get through to them, only getting through to people in india, so dont bother trying 😞 just wait it out.

My phone can recieve calls and texts, i just can't make them. I don't know technology but that seems strange to me. Hope it gets sorted out soon. Bit worrying that they said they didn't know.

Hi, i think you'll find the O2 don't have customer facing personel based in India, so to claim to 'only get through to people in India, so don't bother trying', in in fact wholly inaccurate. Please check your facts before posting.
