No access to Network

Hello. My phone says 'No access to network' which has never happened to me before. Is there an issue with o2's network? Anyone else with this problem? Or is it something to just do with me?

I can't even ring o2 to tell them! Any advice?

okay, they only put fucking indians on the phone of which i cannot understand, is that better for you? and students with only mobile phones are having serious trouble getting through to them, so where is the point in trying? everyones moaning about as if, anyone can fix it, o2 didnt even realise till they got many complaints so leave it them to fix in a few days, or think theyve fixed it until we all complain again.

Getting really frustrated now. My phone went down with the rest of network around 8pm last night. Calls re-instated at 1am. However still not receiving texts and voice mails coming through hours after they've been left. So far it's really messed up my day. I'm pretty patient, but O2 seem unable or unwilling to provide any kind of service update. I'm a business customer and have called their customer service line twice and all they have is a prepared message saying that they're aware that some customers continue to experience problems and they are working on resolving the issue. Surely they must have some idea of time frame? And whether not being able to recive texts and voice mail is a symptom of their network issues? Not good enough from O2.

I still cannot make calls form my phone. Does anyone know when this problem will be fully resolved?

It's now mid-morning on Thursday and my mobile phone has not worked since the debacle of Tuesday evening. I've rung O2 customer service twice but they were about as much help as a chocolate parasol in a heatwave !!
Is anyone else still unable to use their O2 mobile? (I'm in sunny Swansea) or is it just me??

Hi. I'm beginning to think that this problem is mostly contained in Wales as most people on Twitter/FB complaining about it are from that area. I'm in Cardiff and my phone has been unable to make/receive calls since Tuesday evening. Texting is a right pain too as they get sent four times!

I have had the same problem since Tuesday night, I went to the O2 shop in Cardiff yesterday, they just said to not send any texts and turn my phone off for an hour, when I turn it back on it should be ok. I have done this so many times and still have the same problem. Its a problem with a mast in Bristol, apparently affecting Orange, T-mobile and Tesco as well.

Cheers - I'll try this but I can't see it working. It's common practice for o2 employees to give this advice out all the time regardless of the problem. Should I take the sim out when I turn it off?

They said there was no problem with sims or phones, literally just their service. They didn't say to take the sim out slight_smile
