No access to Network

Hello. My phone says 'No access to network' which has never happened to me before. Is there an issue with o2's network? Anyone else with this problem? Or is it something to just do with me?

I can't even ring o2 to tell them! Any advice?

Thanks, on guessing you, MilkBottle work for O2, we'll present these responses of an alledged O2 Employee to O2 as potentionaly affecting the compaanies public image? Whats that called again, emm miscounduct?

Couldn't agree more. Quoting legalities one minute that one has no idea about, and then being abusive to one of the only people on here open to discussing the problems.

Potholes in the road, indeed if they have caused damage to your car, what have you paid your road tax and fuel duty for!

#### Seriously?
Dunno if it was an optional extra on your motor, but mine has a thing called a windscreen. It enables me to see things that I don't want to drive over and avoid them.
If there's roadkill in the road, do you sue the person who ran over it? ####

No, it was not for that, but I was also making a point.

Wouldn't the construction company be liable for any compensation?
Don't they have insurance for this kind of thing?
I remember when I started my IS (IT & Server) installation and support company, I had problems when trying to get liability insurance. The insurers were a little apprehensive about the cover they would give me because I offered onsite server installation & support, and what if I knocked a power cable, shutdown a companies infrastructure and cost them loads in loss of earning...

As I said ealier, they claim off the idiots responsible, you claim off O2.

So I'm guessing O2 will be suing the company for the costs of the engineers working atm, and for their loss of earnings because we aren't making loads of calls, surfing (mob-web) and texts at 1am in the morning. As well as any successful cases from their clients, like Devans

I feel sorry for those customers who have not got the guts to stand up for their rights. Your loss.

I have the guts but this is just pety.. for a few hours from 9 pm onwards... I mean if you really want a lawsuit why not take on apple for their lack of privacy? The amount of accounts being hacked currently to which they do nothing about! Also fully display all your contact details including card numbers for whoever has hacked your account... THAT IS a proper case for a lawsuit not having phone calls from family, gf, friends for a night that I believe is petty.

It is certainly not petty when you run a company as large as mine.

That you had nothing better to do?

Seriously, I've never read such tripe in all my life. Your postings along with 'Justmatt' (thank Christ it is just him) are the rantings of folk with no perspective. Yeah, your mobile ain't working for the evening. Get over it.

You aren't the only ones who rely on mobile communication for their work. I do too.

Thing is though, because I take my work seriously and I try to think ahead, I've got a second mobile on PAYG, the number of which is listed on my business contact card or online listing. If in the unlikely event of an outage on one network, I can still receive calls on the other. A nice cheap £20 PAYG phone from Argos that I topped up with a tenner about a year ago and keep in a drawer.

Similarly, if my ISP goes down for a while, I grab my PAYG USB dongle and carry on as if nothing had ever happened.

Organisation, professionalism; call it what you will.
