I want to report that the form to add an American Express card is broken.

The system correctly recognizes that the card is AMEX and it requires 4 digit CVV.

But the web form is locked to 3 digits.

The error message says please provide the 4 digit CVV - but form is limited to 3 digits.

Anyone has a workaround?

O2 can you please report this to your Web Site Devs? It's an easy fix to change the max length of the field from 3 to 4.

Thanks!

Yep. always has been........
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

O2 Payments, for monthly bill, accept Amex fine (via App "wallet").

Sadly, no use to you for buying off the O2 online store though, @KillianMcC.

Strange but true how O2 can ignore a source of income that way.

You need to enter the Amex Card number manually then it should work also you should see a Amex icon next to the number. If the card number is auto-filled then the CVV only allows upto 3 digits.

The O2 developer team needs to add a feature to detect the card type when auto-filled.

Almost 2 years later and still not fixed. Wouldn't expect anything else from O2.

The MyO2 app lets you pay contract Airtime and Device payments using Amex, as noted above, @connorm:
