I have been away for the weekend and I did have my phone and tablet with me. Access to the forum was slow and full of issues. Back home now and using PC and these problems still remain ...

* Taking ages to accept my login details

* Moving from tab to tab painfully slow

* Timing out before you are able to post

* Worse than that....typing a reply to someone with loads of relevant links..and connection times out again!

(Not even sure this will post if honest)

* Posting pictures is problematic

*I just attempted to post a reply to a new topic. pressed 'post' and I was directed to login again slight_frown

This is less an issue and more of a question.
On the unread posts link it shows all of the new posts with the most recent first.
This means that you start at the most recent post in a thread rather than the first so you are reading in reverse order.
If there are only a few posts this is not such a big problem, but if you are not about for a few days it could be several pages of posts.
Is there any way @Toby @Martin-O2 @MercedesSthat we could get an option to view oldest or newest first?

We've already raised this issue a few weeks ago - still not been fixed by Lithuim yet.

It used to be that no matter which post in a thread you clicked on, it took you to the last unread post. Now it just takes you to the last post in the thread.

As @MI5 said this is something we raised a few weeks back. Previously, whatever unread post we clicked on in any particular thread you would be taken back to whatever post was the last one YOU had read. Now it doesn't.

As it is now.... it's annoying and time consuming as you have to keep scrolling back to find the actual last post you read.

Before I realised this I was actually typing a response only to find the same thing had been said 3-4 posts earlier by someone else!.

Yes I do say. It's no joke. If you don't 'keep on top of it', you read the page or post you are presented with. Click on unread posts again....and voila, same thread has more unread posts on previous page!
