Last night - at midnight I repeatedly received nuisance calls from an O2 customer. I reported this to O2 and was told that they would take no action - I should phone the police or change my phone number.
I am surprised that a company like O2 is happy for its customers to behave in this way and make no attempt to caution them - still I suppose as long as they are getting some money from a customer, they don't mind what they do.

Please do as o2 say and report it to the police then the police can ask o2 to deal with it if proven.

As far as O2 (or any other network would be concerned) is that it's just your word against theirs. The advice to contact the Police or change your number is sound valid advice, if you have a genuine complaint.

Sound advice. O2 can't just barr a number because someone reports malicious calls. Think about it logically and people could report dozens of numbers and innocent subscribers would find themselves blacklisted. The police should be handling your complaint so please contact them.

There is no guarantee this is an O2 number, it could be any network.
