Hello everyone. Thanks for letting me join.
I signed up to Virgin/O2 primarily because of the EU deal and am so pleased that O2 have taken this on.
I am currently holidaying in the Indian ocean and hoped Reunion island would be treated as France, but nothing worked. On approaching Madagascar, I got a text to say that if I signed up for travel, I could get roaming Internet for just £6 a day. Sadly all attempts to get this working failed. In a few days, I will be in South Africa, so hope things go better there.

Thanks. I have read all the instructions, signed up to O2 travel, tried every setting possible, received a text message to offer the service, registered with 2 local providers Orange MG and Airtel, but no service was available.

@ShaunSheep Check to see if you have mobile data turned on in your settings. If you're still not getting a signal, contact customer service. You can use Skype Guide: A Guide to Skype to call the freephone number +4800 032 1402
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
