to be honest I'm a bit disappointed too, but what can we do eh? As I say at least we gave it a shot and it is something that could be done just with a dedicated team...thanks for trying this out guys and we'll see what the future holds!

To be brutally honest, I feel that was a waste of time. Other networks have a small online team that respond in their own and other forums and on social networks. (eg Vodafone, Orange Response). O2 have the press office who will answer basic queries on Twitter. But that's it.

We do need an official O2 presence but not specifically for handsets but for all things O2. At least you tried Gurus but you were on a loser to start, a dedicated team is needed but it might have worked if there was someone monitoring the forum during normal working hours.

It's good that you were trying to do this in the time you had available but business needs mean that you can only give limited time and questions would just be queued for the Gurus.

As you have seen, questions are widely varied and not the type of queries you would get in your normal daily roles in-store.

As stated, this needs to come from higher management within O2 and along the lines of Orange and Vodafone forums but thanks for your efforts. There has been a lot of banter but hope you took it in the spirit it was meant.

You need to call customer service for the answer to that. 202 from your mobile is a free call.

Hi Stuart,

Toby, myself and the social media team are here, so we should have most things covered. There are also several other O2 employees who post here in a personal capacity, but if you feel certain things aren't covered, feel free to drop me a message with your suggestions.

However, don't think we should to deal with account specific queries, as this is a public forum, accessible to everyone. Customer support is better suited for that.

The question asked was account related and these should be addressed to customer service. Do you mean there should be a guru to answer these questions Stuart?
