Samsung SM -X230 Wi-fi only version

Note: there is a version with an additional 5g sim facility, about £100 more.

@Enlli

This tablet is very nice. Metal cover.  Thin.

The Box contents.. tiny print in the Quick Start Guide: package contents

Device Ejection pin USB cable Quick start guide. (This guide tells you nothing for set up except go to Samsung website)

Don't need to because ..

Starting up device is easy and has battery life.

This is so easy it does it all with a few questions. Transfer of stuff from phone and you can choose what very easy.

The size 11 inches is very good for reading books and magazines  and ok for holding.

I haven't bought a cover, I was quite shocked at the price of £45.00 on Argos for this tablet.

looking around for a cover...any advice welcome

Photos for interest... thanks @jonsie and @Enlli

Very pleased with the tablet and enjoying.

Thanks for the unboxing @TallTrees

An excellent review on unboxing and setting up @TallTrees

The tablet looks lovely.

I had a 10in Sony tablet which I really enjoyed at first (then passed it on to my husband) as I found I preferred my laptop and real books. More expensive re books I know but I do pass them on.

My PC works with a data dongle wherever I travel to in the UK.

I wanted a red cover for the tablet and found a lovely one on Amazon. It was real leather and cost me £15 in a sale. (This was a few years ago now.)

Hi @Cleoriff

Looks like Amazon cover and red because it can be 👀 easily.

As I mentioned my neighbour had a book shop so has a mountain of books, just gave me two more!  and a library couple of minutes walk.  I am really enjoying the borrowbox for eaudio books, newspapers and magazines.   Great reading them on the tablet.

The last book she gave me was The Women a difficult read about a nurse in the Vietnam War.

The 2 she now lent me are Graham Norton Frankie and The Cloisters ..Katy Hays never know what she gives me! So I'll 👀 what these are like.

Red is my favourite colour @TallTrees

I've also got the same colour cover on my phone.

That book, I presume, is by Graham Norton the TV presenter?

I've read The Murder Club books by Richard Osman. Quite enjoyable at first, then I got a bit bored.

Yes it is @Cleoriff

I asked my neighbour and she thought he was quite a good writer.

I read "The Thursday Murder Club" book by Richard Osman and that was OK. Then I  borrowed an eaudio by Richard Osman The last devil to die - awful.

I'm looking through eaudio books ..  see what might be ok.
