Galaxy S 3 not registering to the network FIX.

Want a FIX for when your Galaxy S3 fails to register to the network.Try this, it worked for both my wifes and my phone following our phone failing to register to the network. Tried all the reboots and other suggestion from o2 customer services. So I thought I would try the below trick and to my surprise it worked.Twice, thank god !

Fix:

With your phone switched ON,remove the battery. Now remove the sim card and wipe it with a clean soft cloth.

Replace the sim and replace the battery and switch your phone back on. Job done.

Not really as a full cache will prevent you from downloading and updating apps......

It was the SIM card removal that fixed your problem - Nothing to do with pulling the battery out.

Resetting the SIM card often fixes these kind of issues.
BTW pulling the battery with phone on will just fill your cache with a load of crash files - Not a good idea on an android phone......

I accept that this fix may not be ideal but, but when you have a phone with no network connection.You no longer have a phone.And at the time no one around to offer you a solution to the problem.Also, I suggest that the files had already crashed given that they would not register to the network.Better to have a working phone than have a perfect cache and no connection.
