Is a factory unlocked phone the same as a SIM-free phone?

Hi,

 

 

Factory unlocked and sim free means its never been locked to any network and will remain open to all networks.

Factory unlocked means you can use the phone on any network. Sim free means you can use any network's sim that you choose in the phone. So essentially, the answer to your question is yes.

Thanks for the info on factory unlocked and SIM-free. I have a SIM-free phone and know what it means, but I wasn't sure what factory unlocked meant.
