Since the upgrade to Android 4.4.2 on my Sony Xperia Z I've been getting multiple SMS replies (the same message) - the best yet is 5, anyone else having this or does anyone know how I can stop it (I'm assured that the messages have only been sent once)

Hi

Hwve you considered a hard reset which is sometimes recommended after a firmware update.

Ensure you make a back up to protect your saved data.

Edit :

Also performing a sim swap has been known to help.
An O2 high street shop can do this for you or you can do it at home after picking up an account specific blank SIM card from the O2 shop.

It may be a sim card fault, so if no other suggestions work you could try swapping for a new sim.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
