I've just experienced the worst customer service in my life.
I've tried for almost 4 weeks to cancel my sons contract, and have held on each time for over 15 minutes, then gave up.
I was not aware you could cancel it online via chat. However it took over an hour, and after complaining about the poor customer service asked for my 30 days notice charge to be cancelled, they refused!
I have 4 02 contracts, but not for much longer!

@Geordie4ever.
You stated quite clearly in your original post that you had no service at all for 16 months, which was a lie as you clearly pointed out in your next post.
If you fail to tell the whole truth truth to start with then why should anybody help you be it customers like me that go out of my way to spend a little time helping people on these forums or the so called 'spotty' teenager in the shop.
The fact your phone works everywhere other than your house or work place tells you the problem is not O2's issue. So how do you expect to get O2 to help or point you in the right direction?

If you call me having to have my phone at exact the right angle in one little part of my house so I can get one single bar of signal which would disappear as soon as I tried to send a text as having a service then yes..... i was obviously telling lies, do you guys get paid by O2??

Why and how after what i said would make you think I was being paid by O2. Seriously!
Mate, your story keeps changing everytime you post. Firstly, you have no service for 16 months, then you do in certain places. Then you have moved and the phone service is bad, you have changed you phone and are having the same problem.
Did you or did you not 'state' you have had no service for 16 months?
My point still stands, you are have lied and if you lied to us what have you tried on with O2. I am happy to help people that want to be helped, you seem to want something for your own errors. Sorry but if you had given us the full story then I would have told you from the start that other than crossing your fingers and kissing your behind your only help was from O2 customer service. The fact they have already told you and yet your chose to not except it only leads me to think you have lead them a merry dance.
Good luck, hope you get you issue resolved.

16 months to decide you have no service. Surely the op would be sensible enough to try & sort it & not leave it, sounds like trying to get out of a contract I think

Ok, for the last time (I really do not understand which part you can't get a grasp of). I have had no service, I have NEVER been able to take a phone call in my house. I can only send a text in a certain place (I mentioned this in my original message) I have been into the shop on several occassions to complain only to be fobbed off with the "There is nothing we can do" nonsense. I was then told to wait as there is an app coming out which someone has already mentioned on here (Thank you).
I am not after an upgrade I have an I-Phone which is fine, I just want to be able to use the bloody thing. I have been with O2 for a while and I have been happy with them. If O2 can give me a signal so I can use my phone I will be happy. That is all I want, is that too much???
They cannot provide me with this so after 16 months of wrangling with them I have had enough. If you can't bare to see your beloved O2 be given some negative feedback then maybe you shouldn't respond to anyone on here.
Don't bother replying as you are boring me now. I have other things to do apart from stay on this forum and read your love in with the company. Just accept they are not as good as you think they are.
Thanks for amusing me anyway. TTFN
