Hi, has anyone had any dealings with Ariel Direct. they contacted me saying that the were working with O2, and they could give me a discount, and regular tariff. i agreed, but now they are taking money directly from my account, which is in excess of the agreed monthly tariff. i am finding it difficult to get hold of them, and i still have 4 months on the agreement. i have been with O2 for over 15 years, but will be leaving shortly if this is not rectified. can anyone offer anyadvice please.

Puzzles me too, they may be good at supplying business contracts but is O2 supplying them with personal customer's details, if so why?

That's what I meant, why do they even have the details for non business accounts?

I would imagine they have plenty of details about account holders...whether they are business customers or not. More to the point is why O2 would release these details.... which does nothing more than promote mis-selling of the wrong contract to numerous clients

This also suggests that O2 can more or less share what they like with who they choose, from the Terms and conditions pages:

We also collect information so we can tell you about our products and services or allow partners we've chosen to tell you directly about their products. The law requires us to keep some information, too.
