There are many issues with the O2 website with outdated information and broken links. I really like the look of the O2 IE website. It looks neat and sleek with announcements displayed prominently on the home landing page. Any updates to the website are announced beforehand : http://community.o2online.ie/t5/Announcements/Outage-on-o2-ie/m-p/567376#M116
I have also noticed that there are admin staff who will answer and resolve direct customer account problems. Just one of them linked here:

Browsing the community will show many such instances.
My question is; Why can't the O2 UK web team be as diligent and efficient as their Irish counterparts??
Announcement on O2 IE home page : http://www.o2online.ie/o2/
O2 UK just go offline without prior warning such as 11.40pm tonight!!
I think it's been well documented previously by community members and suggestions have been asked for and we have put them forward. I think implementation is long overdue!

Hi guys,
Thanks for your feedback - really appreciate that
I didn't know about the downtime, so I'm going to find out what happened there and will make sure we announce forum downtimes well in advance.
Unfortunately, we don't have the power to redesign the entire website, but because of your earlier feedback, we wanted to start small and help improve specific areas of the website. As you might know, we recently started working with the knowledge base team to review and improve specific help pages. This has really improved turnaround times on getting feedback to the relevant teams, as you might have seen in the recent VAT thread.
Toby has also started a thread here where you can report any broken links or suggested page improvements you might want to share.
Cheers,
Leonard

edit: where's you go perksie or am I imagining posts from you? (Am I losing it)

I must admit I am impressed by the turnaround on rewording things and clarifying things.
However I was browsing the ie forums and a random chat box appeared asking if I needed help. This was a great idea:)
I was under the impression Ireland was a bit behind the uk so why do they get the better stuff haha. (No offence intended I love Ireland spent a lot of my youth there:) )
Good to hear. The chat box appears across our website as well, but not on the forum. If it would, we'd see these threads popping up everywhere
